6 Wheel Crew Cab dump Truck, Snow Ready

The District of Columbia is soliciting a procurement opportunity for a 6 Wheel Crew Cab Dump Truck that is snow-ready, as indicated by the contract opportunity ID 66c8601d829eb5d86907664e. This procurement appears to be for a municipal vehicle, likely intended for use by the city's public works, transportation, or winter maintenance department. The contract opportunity was initially posted on March 1, 2010, with an unusual due date of December 30, 1899, which suggests potential data entry errors in the original document. The specific technical requirements for the dump truck include a crew cab configuration and snow-readiness, which implies the vehicle must be equipped with features suitable for winter road maintenance operations. While the original posting lacks detailed specifications about the exact truck configuration, crew cab design typically indicates a vehicle with additional seating capacity behind the primary cab, allowing for multiple personnel transport.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly outline set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or specific vendor qualifications. Given the municipal nature of the procurement, there may be standard local requirements for vendor registration, business licensing, and compliance with District of Columbia procurement regulations. No specific budget range or estimated award value is provided in the available documentation. The unusual historical due date suggests this might be an archived or potentially incomplete contract opportunity record. Interested vendors would typically need to confirm current procurement status and obtain complete bidding documentation directly from the District of Columbia's procurement office. Without additional context, precise details about incumbent vendors, integration requirements, or technical specifications cannot be definitively stated based on the provided information.
