About this opportunity
The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is seeking qualified suppliers for a contract to perform inshore barge work at a daily rate for habitat enhancement and restoration projects in coastal Georgia. This electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued under the State Purchasing Act, with the primary objective of establishing a contract with one or more vendors capable of executing specialized marine-based habitat work. Prospective bidders must be registered in TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE to view the complete RFQ, submit bids, and access detailed specifications. The solicitation is open from March 28, 2025, with bids due by April 11, 2025. Award will be made to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting all specified requirements, with full mandatory requirements available in the general comment/attachment section of the procurement document. Bidders are advised to review the eRFQ Instructions carefully and are responsible for monitoring the solicitation for potential addenda or updates.
The procurement appears to be open to all qualified vendors, with no specific set-aside designations mentioned in the available documentation. Vendors must complete registration in TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE and comply with all system navigation and submission requirements. Questions regarding the registration process or system navigation can be directed to the procurement help desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or by calling 404-657-6000. Communication restrictions are in place, prohibiting vendors from contacting state staff directly from the issue date until vendor selection is publicly announced, with all communications required to go through the designated Issuing Officer. While specific contract value or budget range is not provided in the current documentation, the daily rate structure suggests a potentially flexible engagement model for inshore barge work related to habitat projects in coastal Georgia.
