This solicitation is restricted to California-certified small businesses; only small-business bidders may submit, and no subcontracting is permitted.

The scope comprises quarterly preventive maintenance services and emergency repairs at Lockwood Station, Tularcitos Station, Beaver Dam Station, Parkfield Station, and Pinnacles Fire Center. The contractor must perform twelve quarterly maintenance visits annually per location and maintain generators in operable condition to support uninterrupted emergency fire response. The contractor supplies all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees. Each location carries an estimated $10,000 repairs allocation for the contract duration.

The estimated contract term runs from September 15, 2026 (or upon California Department of General Services approval, whichever is later) through September 14, 2029. Prevailing wage requirements apply if the total bid amount exceeds $1,000. If total contract price exceeds $25,000, a Payment Bond equal to 100 percent of the contract amount is required before work begins.

The contractor must hold a valid California C-10 Electrical Contractor license and be registered as a Public Works Contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. General and Commercial Liability Insurance of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, Worker's Compensation Insurance with Waiver of Subrogation, and Commercial Automobile Insurance of not less than $1,000,000 are mandatory.

Questions are due by 5:00 p.m. on September 24, 2026.
