360 Degree Bus Cameras

Here is a two-paragraph summary of the state and local contracting opportunity:

Columbus County Schools (CCS) in North Carolina is seeking bids for the procurement of 360-degree HD Surround View Camera Systems for their school buses. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) requests the REI 3D 360 Camera System or an equivalent product. Bids will be awarded based on the quantity of cameras that can be supplied for the available budget of $63,000, including turnkey installation and all taxes and fees. CCS reserves the right to order portions of the total items in phases over a period of up to three months from the award date. The award criteria includes consideration of the quantity, quality, and functional equivalency of the products offered, the vendor's past experience and reputation, delivery schedule, and overall conformity with the bid requirements. Bids are due by July 30, 2024 at 4PM.

CCS is committed to the State of North Carolina's Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program and encourages participation from qualified HUB vendors. The pricing must be valid for up to three months to allow for additional orders during that time period. The IFB does not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and there is no information provided about any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The total award value is $63,000.
