About this opportunity
The State of Maine's Division of Purchases is requesting bids for three portable Livescan fingerprinting stations, with bids due May 14, 2009.
The scope requires Motorola Printrak LiveScan Station Desktop systems, each consisting of FBI Appendix F Certified Tenprint Scanner equipment, LiveScan Station Application Software with Print Module, a laptop, foot pedal for hands-free operation, standard Tri-State profiles and workflows, Case Manager and Message Manager functionality, and on-site training. Systems must be portable and include carrying cases.
Service terms require a one-year on-site Advantage Solution warranty with eight-hour to five-hour Monday through Friday coverage, next-day on-site response, and parts replacement with freight prepaid. A one-year on-site maintenance agreement with equivalent service levels is available after the initial warranty period expires.
Bids must be submitted to the Division of Purchases at 9 State House Station, Room 119, Augusta, Maine, prior to the May 14 deadline. All transportation charges, including freight, must be prepaid by the contractor. Bidders must exclude Federal and Maine State sales and use taxes from quotes. Awards will be made to the lowest responsible bidder offering best value, with consideration given to quality, conformance with specifications, delivery dates, and ultimate cost. Tie bids will be resolved with preference given to in-state bidders or those offering Maine-produced commodities and services. The Division reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities and technicalities, and adjust order quantities by up to ten percent.
