The contract term runs October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with CAL FIRE retaining the right to extend for one additional year under the same terms. Contract payment is lump-sum based on a provided rate sheet, with reimbursement for actual material and supply costs including sales tax. The total contract amount will not exceed a figure to be determined at award. A bidder's bond equal to 10 percent of the bid is required for bids of $484,000 or higher; a payment bond of 100 percent is required prior to work commencement for awards exceeding $25,000.
Prime bidders must hold a valid C10-Electrical Contractor license from the California State Licensing Board and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.
