About this opportunity
The City of Sandy Springs, Georgia is soliciting sealed proposals for city-wide landscaping services across municipal facilities and grounds through a two-phase Request for Qualified Contractors (RFQC), with Phase I qualifications due July 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
Minimum qualifications are gatekeeping: respondents must hold a Georgia Category 24 ornamental and turf license, employ at least one ISA-certified arborist on staff, demonstrate experience with large high-visibility complexes and Class A facilities, and show compliance with ANSI, OSHA, MUTCD, and GDOT standards. A field crew of at least seven personnel (including two foremen and one daily gardener) and a minimum of two dedicated landscape or box trucks equipped with AVL tracking devices are required. Financial stability must be demonstrated.
The scope encompasses comprehensive landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, bed maintenance, tree care, turf management, pest control, debris removal, seasonal color maintenance, irrigation coordination, and emergency response support for Class A office buildings and institutional or campus-style facilities.
Phase I submissions—qualifications, required forms, certifications, E-Verify documentation, and references for similar work completed within five years—are due July 27, 2026. The City will notify qualified firms by August 3, 2026. Phase II, containing pricing and final proposals, will be issued only to shortlisted respondents. Pricing is prohibited in Phase I. Questions are due July 17, 2026, with answers posted by July 22, 2026. No pre-submittal conference is scheduled.
Submissions must be made through the Bonfire procurement platform at sandysprings.bonfirehub.com and must comply with ADA and WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.
