About this opportunity

The Missouri Department of Transportation Central District is seeking bids for six 25-ton pintle hitch trailers meeting specified requirements, with bids due June 22, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Central Time. A 10 percent price preference applies to domestic products manufactured or produced in the United States under the Domestic Products Procurement Act; bidders must complete and certify manufacturing origin on Exhibit N. MissouriBUYS registration is required for contract eligibility.

The scope is a Landoll Traveling Axle Model 345F or MoDOT-approved equivalent with a 31-foot 2-inch deck length, 50,000-pound capacity, 40,000-pound deck rating, fabricated 80,000 PSI yield frame, 1-3/8-inch Apitong hardwood decking, Neway air ride suspension, tandem dual 25,000-pound axles with full air and spring brakes, Grote MicroNova LED lighting, and a 20,000-pound front deck-mounted Braden winch with wireless remote control. Required options include dual hydraulic controls, eight web-mounted angled D-rings, PSI tire inflation system, spare tire and rim, tilting safety latch, cable roller guide, winch guard, dual 14-foot hydraulic hoses with ISO 7241 Series B couplers, and black powder coat finish with hi-visibility reflective decals. All trailers must be delivered to 830 MoDOT Drive, Jefferson City, Missouri. Bidders offering alternate brands or models must submit specification sheets detailing differences from the Landoll 345F.

The contract is structured as a blanket purchase agreement with a desired delivery timeframe of 240 calendar days after purchase order receipt. Payment terms are Net 45 days, FOB destination, freight prepaid and allowed. The resulting contract supports cooperative purchasing for Missouri counties, cities, and special road districts under the same terms, though MoDOT will not issue purchase orders or make payment on behalf of these entities. MBE and WBE participation through subcontractors or joint ventures is encouraged; service-disabled veteran enterprise involvement should be identified. Successful contractor must provide equipment training within 30 days of delivery and acceptance. All bids remain valid for 90 days from opening. Exhibit M Anti-Discrimination Against Israel Act certification is required.
