About this opportunity
The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) is seeking a technology vendor to develop a comprehensive Clinical Trial Data Infrastructure platform focused on creating a patient-facing dashboard and backend system for managing clinical trial information. The primary objectives include developing a web-based platform that provides real-time information about CIRM-funded clinical trials and trials within the Alpha Clinic - Community Care Centers of Excellence (AC-CCCE) network, enabling patient navigation and research accessibility. Key deliverables include a dashboard that integrates data from ClinicalTrials.gov, CIRM's grants management system, and manual entries, with features such as search functionality, mapping capabilities, and WordPress integration. The platform must support site-specific customization for AC-CCCE network members, maintain a robust clinical trial database, and provide a secure backend portal for communication and file sharing to support clinical trial recruitment and enrollment. The project timeline is estimated at 12-17 weeks, with an additional 18 months of maintenance support, and proposals must be submitted through the Bonfire Interactive procurement portal by January 3, 2025.
The procurement opportunity appears to have Small Business (SB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation elements, though specific participation percentages are not detailed in the documentation. Vendors must register on the CIRM Bonfire Interactive portal (cirm.bonfirehub.com) to view and respond to the opportunity, with registration being free and mandatory for participation. Contractors must comply with CIRM's confidentiality and security policies, provide user access controls, support group management, enable secure messaging, and ensure scalable data management capabilities. Insurance requirements include $1 million per occurrence for general liability and $1 million per occurrence/$2 million aggregate for professional liability coverage. Interested vendors can contact CIRM's Business Services Office at businessservices@cirm.ca.gov for additional information.
