About this opportunity

The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for parking lot sweeping and pressure washing/steam cleaning services at the Santa Ana DMV field office. The DMV is seeking a contractor to provide these services five times per week for a 36-month term, with the option for the DMV to suspend services and later reinstate them. The IFB outlines the required work, including the use of truck-mounted equipment for parking lot sweeping, and the schedule of events, which includes bid submission and opening dates. Bidders must comply with economic sanctions imposed by the U.S. and State of California, and the DMV reserves the right to reject bids from any bidder found to be a target of such sanctions. Pricing details are provided, and the DMV has the right to request a cost breakdown from the winning bidder.

The IFB includes bid preferences for small businesses and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs), and the winning contractor will be required to report on DVBE participation. The contract may be terminated for convenience or for cause, and the DMV can impose liquidated damages. The IFB also incorporates various State-provided documents. The estimated cost for this procurement is $183,636.00, and the DMV does not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors.
