About this opportunity

The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids from certified small businesses to provide parking lot sweeping, pressure washing, and steam cleaning services for the Santa Ana DMV field office. The contract will have a term of 36 months, with the possibility of a 6-month extension. Bidders must be certified as small businesses by the California Department of General Services and cannot be targets of economic sanctions against Russia. The DMV will select the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to perform the required services, which include specified frequencies and scheduling of parking lot sweeping using truck-mounted equipment, as well as pressure washing and steam cleaning services. Bidders must provide pricing as a monthly rate for the various service components, and will be required to maintain detailed service logs and provide proof of service documentation. The DMV reserves the right to terminate the contract for convenience or for breach.

This procurement is set aside for certified small businesses only. The DMV has not identified any incumbent vendors or current contractors for these services. The total value of the contract is not specified, but the services are likely to have a budget range commensurate with the scope of work and 36-month term. Bidders must submit their proposals by September 9, 2024, and the DMV will release written responses to any questions by September 4, 2024.
