23 Loyalsock Grower Feed

The state of Pennsylvania, specifically through the Loyalsock Game Farm in Montoursville, is seeking a vendor to supply specialized animal feed for pheasant production. The procurement opportunity, identified by contract ID 66d623f5323913d9c80b3850, involves providing two specific types of pheasant grower feed (designated as #1 and #2) and D.L. Methionine, a nutritional supplement critical for poultry development. The contract was originally posted on June 22, 2010, with a response deadline of July 7, 2010, indicating a time-sensitive procurement process. The solicitation spans multiple jurisdictions including Dauphin County, Luzerne County, Philadelphia County, Morrisdale CDP, Harveys Lake Borough, and Philadelphia City. While specific evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed, the procurement appears focused on a vendor's ability to meet precise feed specifications and supply requirements for the game farm's pheasant breeding program.

The contract does not explicitly indicate set-aside designations or specific restrictions on responding organizations. No information is provided about incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure requirements. Similarly, the document does not specify a precise award value or budget range for the feed supply contract. The procurement seems open to vendors capable of meeting the technical specifications for pheasant grower feed and D.L. Methionine, with the primary qualification being the ability to supply the exact nutritional products required by the Loyalsock Game Farm. The geographic scope suggests potential for vendors with distribution capabilities across multiple Pennsylvania counties, though no specific logistical requirements are outlined in the available information.
