The building must be beige in color with standard metal gauge, 14-foot leg height, one 36-inch entry door on one end, and three 12'x12' garage door openings on one side, with garage doors and installation as separate line items. Qualified contractors must submit detailed pricing broken down by design, material, labor, roll-up doors (quantity three), roll-up door installation, shipping, and other costs. All bidders must provide proof of liability insurance, workers' compensation insurance, and any additional insurance required by applicable state and federal law, with Habersham County Government listed as an additional insured. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST at the facility site, with the deadline for proposal questions also on May 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM EST. Proposals must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM EST on May 14, 2026, to Habersham County Purchasing at 130 Jacobs Way, Suite 302, Clarkesville, GA 30523, with a tentative award date of May 22, 2026. The contract term extends from the date of award through completion of the project, and all proposals are irrevocable offers for 90 calendar days.

In addition to insurance documentation, bidders must provide a W-9 form, an E-Verify affidavit confirming compliance with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91, three references from customers served within the past three years, and an ACH authorization form for direct deposit payments. Habersham County encourages participation from Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), Female Business Enterprises (FBEs), and Small Business Enterprises (SBEs). The county is tax exempt and will provide its Sales and Use Tax Certificate of Exemption number upon request. Habersham County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and may award the contract in multiple phases. No specific budget range or award value is listed in the procurement documents, and no incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified.
