About this opportunity
The State of Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Division of Procurement Services, is requesting quotations for one 2025 Ski-Doo Tundra LE snowmobile or equivalent unit, with quotations due March 26, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time and questions due two business days prior to closure.
The snowmobile must be black with a ROTAX 600 EFI engine, 154-inch track length, electric starter, and sea-level calibration. Required accessories include full wrap-around front bumper, heavy-duty front bumper, full body skid plate, cargo rack kit for 154-inch track, LinQ Adventure cargo box with 90-liter capacity, and spare drive belt. Bidders submitting equivalent items must include a specification comparison sheet or face rejection. All required bid documents — quote on company letterhead with detailed specifications and part numbers, manufacturer product data sheets, warranty information, and signed bid cover page with debarment certification — must be submitted through the State of Maine's AdvantageME Vendor Self Service electronic procurement system.
Delivery is to the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Bureau of Parks and Lands Regional Office at 129 Main Street, Farmington, Maine, with delivery required prior to the 2024-2025 winter season. Delivery timeline factors into the award decision. Pricing must be itemized with Free on Board (FOB) Destination terms; all shipping costs are included in the bid price. The State is tax-exempt and requests tax-free quotations. Payment terms are net 30 upon receipt of acceptable invoices.
Award will be made on a best value basis considering conformity with specifications, delivery timeline, and price; once specifications are met, the lowest-priced compliant bidder receives the award. The State reserves the right to negotiate purchase of additional units at the bid price for six months following award and may reject the lowest bidder if documented poor performance or contract termination occurred within the past five years.
