A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Authority's Administrative Offices (8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134), and sealed bids must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on June 25, 2025. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, though the Authority reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.

Bid packages are available for a nominal cost of $25.00 from Joseph Morency, Senior Procurement Specialist, at (770) 949-7617 or jmorency@ddcwsa.com, and all prospective bidders must obtain a full bid package or their bids will be considered nonresponsive. Bids must be accompanied by adequate bid security consisting of a certified check, bid bond, or irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, which is subject to forfeiture as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to enter into the proposed contract. No set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises are specified in the available documentation. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the procurement materials, and the project involves the integration of two new Flowserve vertical turbine pumps with existing Authority infrastructure at the Bear Creek Water Treatment Plant.
