About this opportunity

The Atlanta Independent School System (APS) is seeking qualified contractors to provide a comprehensive safety/sanitation and manual warewashing system for 73 food service sites. The selected contractor will be responsible for detailed training on safe working practices, usage training of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and direct delivery of chemicals and supplies to all sites. The initial contract term is from June 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, with an option for up to four additional one-year renewals. Proposals are due by 11:00 a.m. ET on December 20, 2023, and a pre-proposal conference will be held on November 30, 2023. The contractor must provide all chemicals, supplies, and equipment necessary for the safety/sanitation and manual warewashing systems, and deliver a one-month supply to each site at least once per month. Monthly service calls and training for APS employees are required.

APS does not currently operate any automated dish machines, and all warewashing is done manually. The contractor's pricing must remain firm for the first year of the contract, and APS reserves the right to request price adjustments for subsequent renewal years. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond to this opportunity. The current incumbent vendor or contractor is not specified, and the available budget range is also not provided.
