About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is soliciting quotes for a 20' High Cube Storage Container under a micro purchase (Requirements contract) with quotes due September 10, 2026. This is a lowest-responsive-and-responsible-bidder award, whole or by line item at the City's discretion.
Sellers must quote all line items to be eligible for award. No delivery or service provision is permitted until the City issues a formal notice to proceed. The contract term is 365 days from the effective date, with automatic termination at midnight on the final day; no obligation exists for the City to receive or pay for orders placed after contract expiration.
The total contract value cannot exceed $45,000, adjusted annually by the CPI-U percentage increase from January 1, 2020, and rounded to the nearest $1,000. Quoted prices must be net and exclusive of taxes; the City exempts itself from federal excise, transportation, and Pennsylvania Sales and Use taxes. All prices and terms remain valid for 60 days from submission. Products must be delivered FOB Destination Point to the City's satisfaction prior to payment.
The City has issued an optional LGBTQ Applicant Opportunity Data Form to collect voluntary demographic data on LGBTQ business ownership and certification status through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce or the Philadelphia affiliate, the Independence Business Alliance. Data submission is entirely voluntary and may be used by the City for other projects and made publicly available at its discretion.
Sellers must maintain General Liability insurance with a $500,000 per occurrence limit, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, and Automobile Liability insurance at $300,000 per occurrence if applicable. All vendors must certify they are not indebted to Philadelphia for delinquent taxes and comply with Philadelphia's business tax requirements. A properly executed Consent and Authorization Agreement must be submitted prior to bid closing, either attached to the vendor profile at registration or included with the first quote. Quotes are submitted electronically through PHLContracts; only the final submission from each seller is considered.
