About this opportunity

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Law Enforcement Division, Region 5 Office is requesting bids on an 18-foot aluminum center console mud boat package under IFB 802-26-75102-CR, with bids due August 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. Only actively licensed marine dealers, manufacturers, or authorized distributors are eligible to bid.

The scope comprises three line items: an 18-foot aluminum flat-bottom center console mud boat conforming to 33 CFR Part 183 with .125-gauge marine-grade aluminum hull, self-bailing capability, hydraulic steering, pre-wired LED lighting and trolling motor connections, automatic bilge pump, and emergency blue LED lighting; a 40-horsepower surface drive outboard motor with V-twin air-cooled engine, power trim and tilt capability; and an aluminum or galvanized boat trailer with mechanical winch, LED submersible lighting meeting Texas Department of Transportation standards, and appropriate towing capacity. Delivery is required to TPWD LE Region 5 Office in San Antonio, Texas.

Pricing must be submitted as line-item unit prices for each component plus a separate delivery fee, on an FOB destination basis including all shipping, handling, and fuel surcharges. Respondents must specify delivery timeframes; TPWD retains the option to arrange pickup to minimize freight costs. The contractor must provide predelivery inspection at the vendor's facility and bears responsibility for travel costs associated with specification compliance issues. TPWD reserves the right to award based on low line-item bid, low total, or any combination serving the state's best interest.

Payment will be made within 30 days of properly submitted invoices following acceptance of goods. The bid response must remain binding for 60 business days from the due date. The contractor must comply with manufacturer's standard warranty requirements, provide manufacturer's manuals, and handle all titling and registration as exempt registration with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. The contract term commences upon issuance and automatically expires upon delivery and final acceptance.
