The state of New York, specifically Bronx County, has issued a procurement opportunity for Body Guard #1009003 Eyewear Cleaning Wipes, targeting a specialized cleaning product for protective eyewear. The contract solicitation seeks wipes designed for cleaning plastic, glass, and polycarbonate lenses, with specific performance requirements including anti-fog and anti-static properties. These wipes are intended for use with glasses, goggles, and face shields, suggesting potential application in safety, medical, or industrial settings. The procurement was posted on October 6, 2025, with a tight submission window closing on October 8, 2025, indicating an expedited acquisition process. While detailed evaluation criteria are not explicitly stated in the provided documentation, the specificity of the product requirements implies a technical assessment of the cleaning wipes' performance characteristics.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly outline set-aside designations or specific restrictions on vendor participation. Without additional information, it is not possible to determine whether disadvantaged business enterprises or local vendors receive preferential consideration. The procurement appears to be a standard supply contract for specialized cleaning wipes, which suggests potential compatibility with existing safety equipment and infrastructure. Given the narrow product specification and short solicitation period, the potential award value is likely modest, potentially ranging from a few thousand to tens of thousands of dollars depending on the anticipated volume and duration of the contract. Interested vendors would need to carefully review the full solicitation details to understand the complete scope of requirements, submission protocols, and potential contract terms.
