About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting competitive bids for the procurement of 10A Traction Power Fuse (Reference 2097594) under this purchase order opportunity. The solicitation is open to qualified vendors capable of supplying the specified fuse product meeting DART's technical and quality standards. All bids must be submitted through the BONFIRE registration system, where vendors will access the detailed BidTable containing project specifications and vendor response fields. Deliverables must comply with merchantable quality standards and meet all specified requirements outlined in the technical documentation. The critical evaluation criteria include the vendor's ability to meet strict delivery schedules and rates, as DART emphasizes that time and rate of deliveries are of the essence, with failure to meet specified timelines serving as grounds for rejection and default termination. The solicitation was posted on February 20, 2026, with a bid due date of February 26, 2026, providing a narrow six-day window for preparation and submission. All pricing must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall bid price, and vendors must comply with Net 30 payment terms with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org.

The solicitation documents do not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility to particular enterprise categories such as disadvantaged, minority-owned, or women-owned businesses. However, all vendors must certify compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements, confirm they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with Foreign Terrorist Organization contracts, and verify that neither they nor affiliated entities boycott Israel. The available documentation does not identify any incumbent vendors, current contractors, or references to specific existing infrastructure or technology requiring integration with the procured fuses. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the posted opportunity materials. All matters arising from this purchase order are governed by Texas law with exclusive venue in Dallas County, and any disputes follow a two-tier resolution process beginning with the Contracting Officer's written decision, with appeals available to the Authority within 30 days of decision receipt.
