Synopsis
The purpose of this program is to ensure the highest possible health status for Urban Indians. The development of programs for Urban Indians residing in urban areas include Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (HP/DP) services, immunization services, alcohol and substance abuse related services, and mental health services, hereafter referred to as the "4-in-1 health program." Funding will be used to support the 4-in-1 health program objectives. These programs are integral components of the Indian Health Service (IHS) health care delivery system.
