About this opportunity
The Administration for Community Living is soliciting cooperative agreement applications to establish up to three National Resource Centers on Older Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians, with applications due July 27, 2026. The program requires 25% cost-sharing from applicants.
Eligible applicants include domestic public or private nonprofits, Indian tribal governments and organizations, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, hospitals, and institutions of higher education. Each cooperative agreement will provide $215,343 per budget period across three 12-month budget periods over a three-year performance period from September 30, 2026 through September 29, 2029, with total funding of $1,020,000 distributed across up to three awards.
The Resource Centers will serve as national hubs providing technical assistance, subject matter expertise, and best practices to improve services for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian elders through Older Americans Act Title VI-funded grantee organizations, tribal organizations, tribal colleges and universities, and other Native-serving entities. Each Center must accomplish three objectives: gathering quantitative and qualitative data on elders served and program outcomes; developing and disseminating key findings with performance measures; and delivering specialized technical assistance and training. Applicants must propose at least three goals with measurable outcomes addressing one or more priority areas—health issues, long-term care including in-home care, or elder abuse affecting AI/AN/NH older populations.

Applicants should include anticipated program outcomes, outcome measurement methodology, and success determination criteria. Applications must be submitted through Grants.gov using opportunity number HHS-2026-ACL-AOA-OIRC-0018.
