About this opportunity

The Health Resources and Services Administration is soliciting applications for the Telehealth Nutrition Services Network Grant Program to support telehealth networks that improve access to quality health care services through telehealth technology, with applications due July 8, 2026. The program focuses on chronic disease prevention and chronic disease management through comprehensive telehealth nutrition services.

Eligible applicants include domestic public or private entities—for-profit and nonprofit organizations, faith-based and community-based organizations, federally recognized tribes and tribal organizations, state and local governments, higher education institutions, and small businesses—that demonstrate existing experience utilizing telehealth technologies to serve rural and underserved populations.

The program operates under CFDA 93.468 (Telehealth Direct Clinical Services). The Telehealth Nutrition Services Network Grant Program is one of three distinct funding tracks within the parent program; the others are the Evidence Based Telehealth Network Program and the Behavioral Health Integration Evidence Based Telehealth Network Program.

Awards are Project Grants. The application review cycle runs approximately two months from submission to decision. Final funding decisions are made by an independent review panel conducted by HRSA's Division of Independent Review, with notification via Notice of Award.

Applicants must consult the associated Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for program-specific criteria, including evaluation criteria, award amounts, expected number of awards, and period of performance. Awardees must maintain grant accounting records three years after submission of the Federal Financial Review; entities expending $1,000,000 or more in federal awards annually are subject to single or program-specific audit under 2 CFR 200, Subpart F.

Forecast synopsis
