About this opportunity

The Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service are seeking applicants for the Sacramento River Valley 2025 Habitat & Facility Improvements Inflation Reduction Act program. Eligible applicants are public entities and Indian Tribes that can conduct ecosystem and habitat restoration projects to address issues directly caused by drought in the Sacramento Valley Basin. Applications will be evaluated on criteria such as species benefit, project feasibility, collaboration, and monitoring plans. The application deadline is February 11, 2025.

Up to $25 million is available in FY 2025 to fund 5-10 eligible projects ranging from $2.5-$5 million each. Projects must be completed within 5 years, with the anticipated award date being July 2025. The primary place of performance is the Sacramento River Valley and associated watersheds in California.
