About this opportunity
The Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration is offering supplemental grant funding through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part D - Women, Infants, Children, and Youth (WICY) Grant. The purpose of this funding is to strengthen organizational capacity to respond to the changing healthcare landscape and increase access to high-quality, family-centered HIV primary care services for low-income women, infants, children, and youth with HIV. Eligible applicants include city/township governments, higher education institutions, nonprofits, and others. Priority will be given to projects in one of six focus areas, such as doula services and implementing evidence-informed interventions. Applications are due by May 13, 2024, and the expected project start date is August 1, 2024 with a one-year period of performance.
Successful applicants may receive up to $200,000 per organization in supplemental funding. The grant opportunity is part of the Coordinated Services and Access to Research for Women, Infants, Children, and Youth program (CFDA 93.153), which provides family-centered care to low-income, uninsured, and medically underserved women, infants, children, and youth with HIV.
Synopsis
Funding under this program supports current RWHAP Part D recipients to carry out one short-term activity that can be completed by the end of 1 year.
