About this opportunity
The Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 is soliciting applications for its Fiscal Year 2023 and 2024 Wetland Program Development Grants. Eligible state, tribal, territory, and local government entities may apply under one of two tracks to develop or refine wetland programs through activities such as monitoring, mapping, permitting and standards development. Selection will be based on how well proposals address climate change impacts, engage environmental justice communities, and plans for transferring results. Applications are due January 12, 2024.
The agency expects to award approximately $3.6 million total across 8 to 16 cooperative agreements ranging from $150,000 to $500,000 each. Funded work must be performed in EPA Region 4 which includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Synopsis
