The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in New Mexico is seeking applicants for cooperative agreements to assist with fuels management and community fire assistance program activities. Eligible applicants include state/local governments, tribal organizations, nonprofits, and educational institutions. Key requirements include conducting community wildfire protection planning, implementing fuels reduction projects, and developing fire education and monitoring programs. Applications are due by March 10, 2025.

BLM plans to award approximately $500,000 total through 2 cooperative agreements ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 each, with no cost-sharing requirement. The projects are to be performed on federal, state, local, tribal and private lands in New Mexico over a 5-year period starting September 4, 2025.
