Forecast synopsis
HRSA, based on our work within the US domestic setting, has worked to address the social determinates and health inequalities found within the health systems of PEPFAR-supported countries utilizing a clinical practice transformation approach to enhance and improve the provision of HIV/AIDS services. PEPFAR-supported countries will be better able to address key barriers to care that are hindering achievement of epidemic control through this program. It will also help to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of PEPFAR programs through implementation of differentiated service delivery, adolescent friendly services, enhanced referral systems, improved patient flow, and enhanced linkages between ART activities and maternity care.
