Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, accredited higher education institutions, state/local governments, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments. The application deadline is August 6, 2024.
NEH anticipates awarding approximately $500,000 to one recipient. The project will be funded through a combination of federal matching funds and related fundraising from non-federal third parties. The period of performance may be up to 36 months, starting between March 1, 2025 and July 1, 2025. This funding opportunity is offered under the Promotion of the Humanities Challenge Grants program (CFDA 45.130).
