About this opportunity
The Bureau of Land Management Wyoming is seeking proposals from state and local governments, higher education institutions, non-profits, and tribal organizations to support plant conservation and restoration efforts through 2029. Applicants must describe how they will develop native plant materials, implement seed-based restoration techniques, and support other activities aligned with the National Seed Strategy. Proposals will be evaluated based on an applicant's statement of need, technical approach, public benefits, qualifications, leveraging of other resources, and past performance. Applications are due February 2, 2024.
Up to four awards between $10,000 and $400,000 will be granted for one to five year project periods starting May 2024. The total available funding is $600,000. Successful applicants will perform work in Wyoming, with an emphasis on activities that mitigate climate change and support long-term infrastructure investment and economic growth through plant conservation and habitat restoration efforts.
