About this opportunity

The Bureau of Land Management Idaho State Office is soliciting applications from eligible entities for invasive and noxious plant management projects on public lands through its FY24 IIJA/IRA Invasive and Noxious Plant Management Program. Applicants such as state, local, and tribal governments, nonprofits, and colleges are invited to propose integrated pest management projects preventing the spread of invasive species and engaging the public in detection and management efforts. Successful proposals will demonstrate a statement of need, technical approach, public benefit, and applicant qualifications. Applications are due by December 11, 2023 and will be evaluated competitively based on the stated criteria.

Total available funding for the program is $500,000 and individual awards can range from $200,000 to $300,000 over performance periods of one to five years. Funded projects will be authorized through cooperative agreements with the Bureau of Land Management to complete approved invasive and noxious plant management work meeting agency priorities on public lands in Idaho.
