About this opportunity

This federal grant opportunity from the Bureau of Land Management seeks applicants to implement forest restoration plans through cooperative agreements under the Good Neighbor Authority program. Eligible applicants include state, local, and tribal governments. Applicants must submit proposals outlining project location, objectives, technical approach, milestones, outcomes, qualifications, and leveraged resources. Proposals will be evaluated based on statements of need, technical approaches, public benefits, qualifications, and leveraging of other resources. Successful applicants will receive funding to implement ecosystem restoration, wildfire fuels management, and tribal co-stewardship projects. Application packages are due by April 8, 2024.

Cooperative agreements ranging from $10,000 to $1,000,000 will be awarded to support work in Idaho. Budget narratives must detail all projected costs including personnel, fringe benefits, travel, equipment, supplies, contractual services, construction, and indirect costs over the potential five-year period of performance. Funded projects will further the Bureau of Land Management's natural resource conservation goals through expanded federal restoration capacity and partnerships.
