Synopsis

Notice of Funding Opportunity for Transit Standard Development. The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announces the availability of up to $3,000,000 of Technical Assistance and Workforce Development Program funds to one project for development of transit standards.

FTA is seeking applications for projects that will develop voluntary standards and standards-related best practices, guidance, and tools in safety, and other areas in public transportation. The major goal of the program is to assess need, develop standards and implement those standards by directly working with industry stakeholders to provide safe, efficient and effective public transportation service.
