About this opportunity

This cooperative agreement from the Department of State Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration seeks innovative proposals to advance gender-based violence programming and practice at the global level through initiatives that improve quality and accessibility of services for women, girls, and survivors in conflict-affected humanitarian emergencies. Applicants must refer to relevant IASC guidelines, include a target beneficiary base of at least 50% refugees, and propose activities supporting organizations like UNHCR and ICRC working globally. Evaluation will consider contributions to the evidence base and inter-agency coordination, with proposals due no later than April 26, 2021.

Funding will be provided under the Overseas Refugee Assistance Programs for Strategic Global Priorities program. Successful proposals are expected to perform work at global and field levels to coordinate inter-agency leadership and document good approaches for the humanitarian community, with single country GBV service provision proposals deemed ineligible for consideration.
