About this opportunity
The United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is soliciting applications from active Food for Progress (FFPr) award recipients for additional commodity funding to be incorporated into their existing cooperative agreements. The key objectives of the FFPr program are to improve agricultural productivity and expand trade of agricultural products in developing countries. Evaluation criteria focus on the applicant's concept note, rapid market analysis, detailed budget, and performance indicators. The application deadline is June 14, 2024, and USDA anticipates making 1-7 awards with a period of performance not to exceed 2.5 years beyond the current end date of the existing award.
Up to $50 million in total funding is available, with anticipated individual awards ranging from $1 million to $10 million. Eligible applicants are current FFPr awardees with at least $300,000 in remaining freight funding and who have started or submitted their mid-term evaluations. The program aims to support active FFPr projects in developing countries.
