Eligible applicants include tribal governments and state governments, who must submit applications through FEMA Grants Outcomes (GO) by August 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. ET. Applicants will be expected to work collaboratively with FEMA to explore and implement cutting-edge alert and warning technologies.

The grant opportunity provides a total of $40 million, with five awards of $8 million each anticipated to be made by September 29, 2025.
