The Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) Evidence Based Telehealth Network Program (EB-TNP) seeks to demonstrate how telehealth networks integrate behavioral health services into primary care settings through telehealth technologies. Eligible applicants include domestic public or private nonprofit and for-profit entities that will provide services through a telehealth network including at least one distant site and two rural and underserved originating sites. Applicants will be evaluated based on their ability to meet the program objectives, the qualifications of key personnel, and organizational experience. Applications are due March 22, 2024.
The Health Resources and Services Administration will award up to 25 cooperative agreements of up to $350,000 each for a five-year period of performance expected to run from September 2024 through August 2029, for a total annual funding amount of $8.75 million. Successful applicants will use telehealth networks to connect healthcare providers across rural and underserved areas to improve access, quality, and training related to behavioral health integration.
