About this opportunity
This notice of funding opportunity from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service seeks applications to support easement restoration, management, and maintenance projects in New Hampshire. Eligible applicants include non-profit and non-501(c)(3) organizations to provide technical assistance, maintenance, and project management activities associated with wetland restoration and existing agricultural conservation easements. Applicants must submit applications through Grants.gov by April 24, 2024 to be considered for approximately $200,000 in cooperative agreements. Selections will be made based on an applicant's ability to fulfill the program objectives of restoring degraded wetlands and uplands across existing easements in accordance with guidance from the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program and Wetlands Reserve Program.
The agency intends to award approximately $200,000 total through this opportunity, but selected applicants may receive additional funding through amendments to implement restoration practice activities. All work performed under these cooperative agreements will support easement restoration, management, and maintenance projects within the state of New Hampshire.
