The Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grants program is seeking applicants to enable and improve distance learning and telemedicine services in rural areas through funding for telecommunications-enabled information, audio, video equipment and related advanced technologies. Administered by the Department of Agriculture Rural Housing Service and Rural Utilities Services, eligible applicants include independent school districts, higher education institutions, county and tribal governments, small businesses, nonprofits and for-profit organizations.
