About this opportunity
This federal grant opportunity from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration seeks applicants to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions to youth and young adults ages 25 and under who are at clinical high risk for psychosis. The purpose is to improve symptomatic and behavioral functioning, enable resumption of normal activities, delay or prevent psychosis onset, and minimize untreated psychosis duration. Applicants are expected to use evidence-based methods and will be evaluated on their ability to meet these objectives. Applications are due no later than April 8, 2024.
Funding is available under two programs of regional and national significance: Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Projects (93.243) and Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children with Serious Emotional Disturbances (93.104). Awards will support community-based systems of care for this vulnerable population in a collaborative, multi-system manner.
