Forecast synopsis
As PEPFAR approaches epidemic control of HIV in many countries, Ambassador Birx, who leads the PEPFAR program, recognized the need to increase the role of community service organizations (CSOs) to help PEPFAR reach the "last mile" toward epidemic control, and beginning this year PEPFAR countries were mandated to invest in community service organizations to conduct community-led monitoring (CLM). HRSA has expertise that other PEPFAR Countries may wish to utilize, and this project aims to make that support available more broadly.
