About this opportunity
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Burma is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement to implement the "BURMA: Resilient Tuberculosis Response in Myanmar (RTBR) Activity." The objective is to strengthen the ability of non-National TB Program providers, such as private general practitioners, private hospitals and clinics, and NGO-managed clinics, to screen, test, and treat TB and DR-TB patients, and provide TB preventive therapy. Eligibility is restricted to local organizations in Burma, with international organizations permitted as subrecipients. Applicants must submit a Concept Paper by January 7, 2025, and successful applicants will participate in a co-creation process with USAID before submitting a full technical and cost application.
USAID intends to award one cooperative agreement with up to $16,200,000 in total funding over a five-year period. The funding includes an "Opportunity Node" of $2.7 million that can be activated through bilateral modification to expand geographic focus, intensify program elements, or respond to unforeseen risks within the activity objectives. The project is expected to take place in Myanmar.
