Synopsis

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity is to invite proposals for funding from eligible private and non-profit organizations, local and state government agencies, and institutions of higher education to provide synchronous online entrepreneurship training to transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses. The entrepreneurship training shall be a continuation of the training participants receive as part of SBA's Boots to Business (B2B) Training Program or the Boots to Business Reboot (B2BR) Training Program. Additionally, applicants will provide counseling, training, technical and financial skill development, comprehensive business assessments, and mentoring services to veteran, active duty, Reserve, National Guard, military spouse/survivor entrepreneurs, and small business owners interested in starting a new venture or expanding and diversifying established small businesses. This Notice of Funding Opportunity is subject to the availability of funding. Other organizations meeting the B2B Follow-on program eligibility criteria, as well as other organizations serving socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs, are also encouraged to apply. Proposals responding to this PA must be posted to www.grants.gov no later than 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, on April 11, 2022. No other methods of submission are permitted. Proposals submitted after the stipulated deadline will be rejected without evaluation.
