Eligible applicants include state/local governments, educational institutions, tribal organizations, and other public entities. The program aims to push the preservation field forward with cutting-edge, disseminable models of practice. Proposals will be evaluated on their innovation, national impact, and ability to address priorities like augmented reality, climate change, and Indigenous knowledge. The application period runs from January 3 to March 4, 2025, with award notifications expected by July 1.
The PTT Cooperative Agreements will provide a total of $200,000 in funding across 4-6 awards ranging from $15,000 to $50,000 each. Projects may focus on research, specialized training workshops, or media/communications initiatives. Work is expected to commence around September 1, 2025 and should have national relevance to the broader preservation community. No cost sharing is required for this competitive grant program.
