About this opportunity

The USDA Forest Service is seeking applications for its 2025 Landscape Scale Restoration Grant Program for Federally Recognized Tribes and Alaska Native Corporations/Villages. Eligible applicants include Tribal governments, and projects must take place on Tribal trust lands, Tribal fee lands, or rural state/local government forest land. Proposals will be evaluated on criteria such as measurable outcomes, leveraged resources, and sustainability, and are due by December 16, 2024.

The program is authorized under the Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act and administered by the USDA Forest Service, which has awarded recent grants under this program ranging from approximately $50,000 to $18.5 million for 2-5 year projects across entire states or multi-state regions.
