Forecast text
PCM Description: The Contractor is directed to cease any planning and execution of work related to the demolition of the abandoned duct bank and the patching or repairing of the underlying existing airfield paving identified in RFI WALSHGRP-0678. This work is hereby officially removed from the contract requirements. The Contractor shall ensure the area is left in a safe condition, pending future work by others.
PCM Justification: During asphalt demolition, the Contractor uncovered an abandoned communications duct bank and existing airfield paving. The Contractor submitted RFI WALSHGRP-0678 to seek direction on the demolition of the duct bank and the repair of the existing paving. In response, the Government directed that the work associated with the area in question will be removed from the scope of this contract and will be handled under a separate contract after the project is turned over to the Government at BOD.
