About this forecast

Naval Air Systems Command is modifying CFT Task Order N0042125F0699 to perform production installation of REDNET 2.0 BLK 32, BMUX PHASE 1, and AESA avionics upgrades on F-16C aircraft, with solicitation release estimated for April 1, 2026 and award estimated for July 1, 2026. The upgrades enable high-end threat replication capability required for 5th Generation Assets to succeed in air-to-air combat against peer threats. The requirement also includes updating pay official and DCAA auditor DoDAACs to ensure timely payment processing and avoid potential payment rejections or delays.

The estimated award value is up to $2 million under a Cost-Reimbursement single-award indefinite-delivery contract. The scope comprises 61 total production installations across four SLINs: 16 BMUX installations, 16 REDNET 2.0 BLK 32 (86 Series) installations, 13 REDNET 2.0 BLK 32 (87 Series) installations, and 16 AESA installations. Work is performed at 47123 Buse Rd #540, Patuxent River, Maryland 20670. The requirement is 8(a) sole source and requires Secret facilities and personnel clearances.
