About this forecast
The Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management is forecasting a new requirement for the construction of Phase 2 of Atwell Island Headquarters, a 1,970 square foot BLM facility consisting of a garage and storage area with necessary infrastructure upgrades. The base bid includes slab-on-grade construction with concrete masonry unit walls, prefabricated wood trusses, site improvements with a gravel drive area, and water and sewer stub-ups for future bathroom connections. The solicitation is estimated for release on July 1, 2026, with optional add-alternates including perimeter fence demolition and reconstruction, RV electrical hookup installation, RV parking area development, and a new restroom facility with mechanical and plumbing connections.
The estimated award value ranges from $500,000 to $999,000 under a firm fixed price contract type, competed under the Small Business Administration's Streamlined Acquisition Procedures. The work will be performed in California, and contractors should note the NAICS classification of 238190 for Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors.
