Questions and Answers Request for Quotes 36C24623Q0834
Question: I am seeking clarification on which limitation on sub-contraction clause item to use per the solicitation in final cost: Page 70 marks Specialty Trade limitation of 75% , but page 87 marks 50% services .
Answer: VAAR provision 852.219-77 has been revised to reflect a specialty trade limitation of 75%. See below revised provision. With this amendment, both VAAR clause 852.219-75 and VAAR provision 852.219-77 both reflect a specialty trade subcontracting limitation of 75%.
Update #3 ·
The purpose of this amendment is to revise the period of performance in which work will be completed. All work shall be completed within two (2) weeks of issuance of notice to proceed. The purpose of the 'notice to proceed' is to allow for material submittals and material procurement to be completed prior to the start of work on site, as necessary.
