About this opportunity
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention seeks to award a five-year time and materials contract to establish and operate the World Trade Center Health Program Nationwide Provider Network. Services required include contract management, member services, program communications, establishing and maintaining a nationwide provider network, administering monitoring and treatment, conducting physician determinations and certifications, administering medical benefits claims and billing, coordinating benefits with private insurance for survivors, and quality assurance controls. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has a requirement procure services for the establishment and operation of the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP) Nationwide Provider Network (NPN) to provide services to the Responders/Survivors of the 9/11 attacks living outside of the New York metropolitan area (NYMA) in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Zadroga Act. A five-year Time & Material contract is anticipated. Award will be made using a Best-Value, Trade-Off approach.
The requirement is to provide limited health care delivery services that include:
- Contract management
- Member services
- Program Communications
- Establish and maintain nationwide provider network
- Administer monitoring and treatment
- Conduct physician determinations and request certifications
- Administer end-to-end medical benefits claim and billing program
- Coordination of benefits with private health insurance for survivors
- Quality Assurance Controls to prevent unauthorized services
- Case management and care coordination
